Canyon High Junior Varsity
Boys' Coaching Staff
Sean Delong - Head J.V. Coach
Coach Delong enters his second year as Head J.V.Coach after serving one year as the Head Freshmen Coach and four years as a Varsity Assistant Although Sean will continue his responsibilities as an Assistant Varsity Coach, he will be spending most of his time working on building the fundamentals at the J.V. level. Coach Delong is a 1995 graduate of Canyon High School where he played under Greg Hayes. Sean was recently hired as a special education teacher here at Canyon and will now be on campus full time. He is currently working in a credential program while coaching and teaching. Sean and his fiancee Jackie are in the middle of planning for their November wedding date. Coach Delong is looking forward to assisting the varsity program, focusing on the defensive end, while developing the younger players on Junior Varsity for future success.
Sean brings his knowledge of the game, positive spirit and never give in attitude to the program.
